Spectators in Dubai got a taste of what the future of transportation could look like. The Xpeng X2 took to the Emirati skies for a 90-minute test flight. According to the company, it only weighs 794 lbs, and its 8 propellers give it a top speed of 81 mph. A zero-emission, battery-powered flying car sounds really good in the age of soaring gas prices, but there simply isn’t an international infrastructure in place for cars that drive anywhere but on the ground.
