Nurse Who Survived Breast Cancer Quits Hospital Job

A fed up nurse who quit her job in a very public way now says she regrets how she went about it. When Melissa Thomas Scott, a breast cancer survivor and mom of four, made the difficult decision to quit her nursing job after being assigned to a floor where patients were being tested for coronavirus. She posted a video about her choice on Facebook, where she received mixed reactions. Now, Thomas Scott says she wishes she handled the situation, and wishes things had transpired differently.
