Ten years ago this week, Barack Obama was inaugurated as the country’s first African-American president. On Jan. 20, 2009, 1.8 million people descended on Washington D.C.’s National Mall to see the 44th president being sworn in for his first term. In freezing temperatures, Inside Edition spoke with many ticketed visitors who said they had difficulties getting into the event as thousands sought to witness history.
