Officials Move to Protect Critically Endangered Giraffes

About a century ago, more than one million giraffes roamed Africa. Now, that number has dwindled down to about 110,000. UN officials and African leaders are stepping in to take measures that will protect the remaining population. Experts say migration, infrastructure development and poaching are just some of the reasons why the animals are disappearing. InsideEdition.com’s Stephanie Officer explains.
