Oklahoma Woman Starts ‘Free Mom Hugs’ to Offer a Mother’s Love to LGBTQ Community

If your mom won’t support you during Pride Month, this mom will. Sara Cunningham is the founder of Free Mom Hugs, which she started to make sure that every member of the LGBTQ community feels a mother’s embrace. Sara says she started the project for people like her, or who she used to be. She says her religious beliefs initially caused her to reject her son Parker when he came out to her as a teenager.
