Olympic Gold Medalist Mary Lou Retton in ICU With Pneumonia

Daughter of Olympic champion Mary Lou Retton says her mom is “fighting for her life.” In 1984, Retton became the first American female gymnast to win the individual gold medal. After retiring from gymnastics, she appeared in several movies. Now, her daughter says Retton is in the ICU with a rare form of pneumonia and she can not breathe on her own. She also says her mom does not have medical insurance.
