Once-Bustling California Mall Now In A State Of Ruins
January 13, 2026
The Westminster Mall in Orange County, California is in a state of ruins. When the mall opened in 1974, it was booming. At one point, the 9-acre mall had at least 168 stores. Today, there is graffiti, broken glass, and debris everywhere. The couches and chairs where exhausted shoppers once took a break have been destroyed. Police say they have been making at least 10 arrests a day. Donny Mohler shot some video of the mall. He spoke with Inside Edition.
