Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King Visit Statue of Liberty: ‘Let Freedom Ring'

Oprah Winfrey was with best friend Gayle King Thursday morning as they helped unveil a new museum on Liberty Island in New York City. “It's pretty emotional to see her this close,” Winfrey said of seeing the Statue of Liberty. The duo were among some of the first people to see the new museum, which opened to honor the legacy and impact of the Statue of Liberty. Winfrey recorded video with her cellphone, just like any excited tourist.
