Oprah Winfrey Reveals She Uses Weight-Loss Medication

Oprah Winfrey confirms she's taking a weight loss drug. "The fact that there's a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift," she says. Earlier this month, she debuted a much slimmer figure at the premiere of “The Color Purple.” Now, without naming the drug, Winfrey confirms she's taking something to "maintain her weight" and says she's close to her goal of 160 pounds.
