Outrage As Serial Child Predator Set To Be Released From Prison

There is growing outrage over a serial child predator who is about to be released. David Allen Funston was convicted of 16 counts of kidnapping and child molestation in Sacramento in 1999. Now, after 27 years behind bars, he has been granted what's known in California as elderly parole. Funston is 64 years old. The parole board cited Funston's "therapy work and sex offender treatment classes he completed" behind bars. They said they "did not believe Funston posed a significant danger."
