Overwhelmed Hospitals Are Once Again Being Forced to Turn Away Ambulances

Ambulances with sick patients are being turned away from some hospitals in southern California as COVID-19 cases climb. Others are lined up for hours as EMT crews wait to get their patients treated in overwhelmed emergency rooms. Inside Edition’s Jim Moret followed EMT Corey Ellison and his crew on emergency calls. He said wait times are worse now than at any other time in the pandemic. Two hospitals in Houston, Texas, have erected large tents in their parking lots because all ICUs are full.
