Parents, 6-Year-Old Shot by Neighbor Angry That Ball Rolled Into His Yard: Cops

A 6-year-old girl and her father were shot after a kid's basketball rolled into a North Carolina man's yard. It happened as a bunch of neighborhood kids were playing basketball. The ball then bounced into Robert Louis Singletary's yard. Cops say he became enraged and stormed out of his house with a pistol. Singletary allegedly opened fire until he was out of bullets. The girl's father was badly injured trying to shield her from the gunfire. Inside Edition's Steven Fabian spoke with Dr. Phil about why incidents where a trigger is pulled over such everyday occurrences.
