Passenger Says Air Marshall Wouldn’t Let him Take Pet Opossum on JetBlue Flight

Gerald Tautenham rescued an opossum several months ago from his swimming pool, and the pair quickly became inseparable. But when Gerald took his pet, named Zatara, to visit his mother in Texas, he hit a snag. An air marshal on his JetBlue return flight told him his pet could not fly with him and had to be taken off the plane. Gerald and his opossum found themselves stranded in Texas for several days.
