People Are Going to the Dentist After Smelling Their Bad Breath in Masks

For people who have to wear masks all day, like real estate manager Jennifer Verbeki, there’s a side effect that’s sending people to the dentist for help. It’s called mask mouth, in which the smell of your own breath becomes hardly bearable. Dentists say that they are being flooded with patients complaining about their bad breath. Periodontist Dr. Rob Raimondi says they are seeing a lot more people with inflammation, cavities and gum disease.
