People Hide Under Tables During Alaska Earthquake

A 7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked Alaska Friday, outside of Anchorage. Video from inside an Anchorage courtroom shows ceiling tiles collapsing and the lights flickering as the ground shakes. Just outside that room, people took refuge under tables, trying to avoid falling debris. Meanwhile power outages knocked newsrooms off the airways. At one local CBS station, reporters turned to social media to broadcast the damage. A tsunami warning was issued in the wake of the quake.
