Pianist Attacked in NYC Returns to Stage After Being Told He Wouldn’t Play Again

Tadataka Unno's earliest memories of his father playing Jazz records sparked his desire to pursue a career as a Jazz musician in New York City.  Unno is well known around the world for his talents. Last fall, he was beaten so badly by a group of teens while coming out of the subway that it nearly ended his career. Doctors told Unno he’d likely never play the piano again. Less than a year later, Unno has proven those doctors wrong. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.
