Police Pursuit Leads to Suspect Slamming Into Hydrant

There was a bit of a mess after a police pursuit in Southern California ended with water everywhere. KCBS states that the incident occurred when a DUI suspect slammed into the hydrant. Firefighters took in the scene for a bit before taking action. One climbed into the car to back it off the shutoff valve, but that didn’t work. So a tow truck was brought in to move the vehicle so the valve could be accessed and turned off. Inside Edition Digital has more.
