Pope Cancels Mass Due to Illness After Voicing Support for Coronavirus Patients

As Italy becomes the epicenter of Europe’s coronavirus outbreak, authorities announced the Pope was unwell. After voicing his support for patients this week, he was seen coughing and blowing his nose during Ash Wednesday mass. He canceled one event Thursday to rest. His spokesperson says he’s only suffering a “slight indisposition.” As the virus spans the globe, DHS experts advise Americans to be prepared for an outbreak by stocking up on cold and flu meds, food and electrolyte-rich drinks.
