Pope Francis Dead at 88

The Vatican has reported His Holiness Pope Francis has died. Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1936, he took the vows of the Jesuit priesthood, poverty, chastity, and obedience, in 1960. He climbed the ranks of the Catholic Church, and was given the title of Cardinal by then Pope John Paul II in 2001. Following the abdication of Pope Benedict XVI, the Conclave of Cardinals elected Father Jorge Bergoglio in 2013 to its highest office.
