President Calls Black Lives Matter Mural Below Trump Tower a ‘Symbol of Hate’

President Trump didn’t hide his feelings about the plan to paint “Black Lives Matter” on Fifth Avenue right in front of Trump Tower. He called it a “symbol of hate” on Twitter and said that the mural would be “denigrating this luxury Avenue.” Mayor Bill De Blasio said that the mural would be completed in the next few days. Seattle’s mayor signed an executive order that sent the police into the “CHOP” occupied zone to clear out protesters who had taken over the downtown district.
