Rare 11-Carat Pink Diamond Fetches $57 Million at Auction

As if its beauty didn’t already exceed expectations, this enormous pink diamond also sold well over its estimated price. This 11-carat pink cushion cut Fancy Vivid Pink Star diamond from the Williamson Mine in Tanzania sold at auction for more than $57 million. Would you believe it’s not the most expensive ever sold? Sotheby’s says a similar diamond sold for $71 million in 2017. Experts estimated this diamond would fetch around $21 million. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
