Birth of Sumatran Rhino Calf Celebrated at Sanctuary in Indonesia
A recent birth in Indonesia is giving conservationists hope for the future. This calf was born at the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary, bringing its population up to 10. The World WIldlife Fund estimates there are only around 40 Sumatran Rhinos left in the world. With numbers so close to extinction, conservation efforts may seem like they are in vain.
