Rare Surgery Allows 12-Year-Old to Keep Dancing After Losing Leg to Bone Cancer

Nothing will stop Delaney Unger from her passion for dancing. When Delaney was 11 years old, doctors diagnosed her with a rare bone cancer, and had to have part of her leg amputated. Doctors then performed a rare surgery called Rotationplasty at Stony Brook Medical Center in New York. Her ankle joint now serves as her knee so she's able to attach a prosthetic leg.
