Real-Life Claire Sardina Speaks Out About 'Song Sung Blue'

"Song Sung Blue" starring Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman is based on a real-life Milwaukee husband and wife, Mike and Claire Sardina, who became famous as a Neil Diamond tribute band called "Lightning and Thunder." The film is based on the 2008 documentary of the same name. In 1999 disaster struck when Claire lost her right leg after a car hit her while she was gardening. But the duo continued performing.
