Reopening Movie Theaters See Low Ticket Sales Because of Lack of New Films

Movie fans are wondering if it’s safe to return to theaters. Bow Tie Cinemas in Connecticut reopened Wednesday and Inside Edition got a behind-the-scenes look. With new film releases being put on hold, movie-goers can choose from classics like “Grease” and “The Goonies.” As with most businesses reopening, they’ve put in new safety measures to help fight the spread of germs. Snacks are behind Plexiglas partitions and seating is spaced out so that every occupied seat has empty ones on either side.
