Republican Montana Senator to Attend Daughter’s Wedding Before Kavanaugh Vote
October 5, 2018
As the Kavanaugh nomination moves to a final vote, Montana Sen. Steve Daines says he has a scheduling conflict: his daughter is getting married. The final confirmation vote could happen at about 5 p.m. Saturday in Washington D.C. Daines’ daughter, Annie, is marrying Brad Moss in Montana Saturday. Daines told CNN he'll fly back from the wedding to vote for Kavanaugh. It is still unclear if Daines could cause a delay in vote or whether they will allow him to vote without being there.
