Rescued Bald Eagle Stuns Audience as She Is Released Into Virginia Sky

After five months of care, a rescued bald eagle took off into the sky like a champion! "When she came in she was badly, badly beaten up," said Ed Cark, the co-founder and president of Wildlife Center of Virginia. The bird came to them with bruised lungs and a drooping wing. Animal experts nursed her back to health and nearly six months later, their tender loving care proved to be worth it as they set her free.
