Rescuers Rush to Save Injured Bald Eagle in Creek Before It Gets Swept Away

It was a race to help an injured bald eagle before it was too late. The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue in Maryland says a man called to report the animal was in a creek and in danger of being swept away. When rescuers showed up to help, the eagle tried to get away, paddling downstream. As it started to float away, the eagle tried to get to dry land. That's where rescuers were waiting.
