Residents of Louisiana City Come Together to Rebuild, 3 Weeks Post-Hurricane Ida

Everyone in Houma, Louisiana, is coming together to cook – not for a huge town gathering, but to make sure everyone whose homes have been destroyed by Hurricane Ida have enough to eat. Most homes in their city, located just an hour outside New Orleans, still has not seen electricity or gas return more than three weeks after the hurricane touched down. But the close-knit community is coming together to rebuild, one meal at a time. Inside Edition Digital’s Johanna Li has more.
