Retired Flight Attendant Pushes Cart 220 Miles to Honor Coworkers Lost on 9/11

It’s a tribute twenty years in the making. Retired United Airlines flight attendant Paulie Veneto unknowingly avoided tragedy by taking the day off on Sept. 11 2001, instead of boarding Flight 175 out of Boston, which was hijacked. Now, in honor of his fellow flight attendants, Paulie is making the trip on foot from Boston to New York, pushing his beverage cart 220 miles in their memory. He will end his trip at One World Trade Center for the twentieth anniversary of that tragic day.
