Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Stowaway Owl ‘Rocky’ Release Back Into Wild

An owl that almost made it to the big city was sent back to a place where she'll surely be more comfortable. Rocky was discovered stowing away inside the Christmas tree that was bound for Rockefeller Center in New York City. She made it 170 miles away from home the saw-whet owl was spotted hiding in the branches. He searched for an organization that would take her in. The Ravensbeard Wildlife Center was happy to help.
