Wealthy residents of Los Angeles are ditching their pricey luxury watches after a series of brazen armed robberies in broad daylight targeting the Rolex class. Realtor Jason Oppenheim, who stars on the reality series “Selling Sunset,” says that last week, a man was mugged in the parking lot next to his office. Now, despite his industry’s norm of projecting success through material objects, he’s going without a watch or jewelry and advising his staff to do the same.
