Woman Survived 10-Story Fall Down Garbage Chute

A woman had to be rescued after falling several stories down an apartment building trash chute earlier this month. Massiel Gutierrez told WCBS she was putting boxes in the 7th floor garbage room of her Hackensack, New Jersey building, when she heard a woman crying for help. "All I hear is screaming and screaming," she said. The woman reportedly was lodged in between the 3rd and 4th floors, amidst a heap of trash. She was taken to the hospital with significant injuries.
