Russian AI Robot Faceplants

A much-hyped humanoid robot made its Moscow debut this week. When AIDOL appeared from the wings, it had a stomping kind of gait. AIDOL made its way to the front of the stage, waving to the crowd, and then face-planted. AIDOL's human helpers rushed to its aid, while someone tried to pull a black curtain to hide the AI fail. Afterwards, the CEO of the tech company behind AIDOL told Russian media he hoped "this mistake will turn into an experience."
