Sandy Hook 1st Responder Patrick Dragon Dies From COVID-19 at 50

Patrick Dragon, a first responder to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, has died from COVID-19. Dragon died on Jan. 2, after a lifetime of service in both the Connecticut State Police and the East Brooklyn Fire Department. According to his family, Dragon joined the East Brooklyn Fire Department at the age of 16, and entered the Connecticut State Police Training Program in 1998. He was the East Brooklyn Deputy Fire Chief at the time of his passing. Dragon was 50.
