Scientists Are Working on Creating Tastier Plant-Based Meat Alternatives

Scientists at the University of Queensland are trying to make plant-based proteins more palatable, even for those of us who don’t claim to be vegetarian or vegan. Socially conscious foodies may delight over more delicious fake meat, and one scientist believes farmers should be excited also. Prof. Jason Stokes said the rise in popularity of meat alternatives “should lead to new crops and new agricultural targets.”
