Screaming Cop Who Pepper-Sprayed Army Lieutenant in Traffic Stop Fired

Officer Joe Gutierrez of the Windsor Police Department in Virginia, who held a Black and Latino army lieutenant at gunpoint, handcuffed him and doused him with pepper spray during a violent traffic stop last December has been fired, officials said. Bodycam video of the incident shows Lt. Caron Nazario attempting to deescalate the situation, which was apparently confusing to him, as he asked what was going on several times. He  was released without being charged, and is now suing the town.
