A national landmark has opened up a 100-year-old tunnel for visitors to marvel at a wonder. A century-old tunnel on the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls is set to open to the public. Back in 1905, the first hydroelectric power plant opened on the Canadian site of the Niagara River, as a way of harnessing something new and creating something new called electricity or hydroelectricity,” said David Adames, CEO of Niagara Parks.
