Moment Deputy Stops Runaway Boat Caught on Camera

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s office says a deputy in Florida leaped onto a runaway boat that was traveling at over 40 mph to stop it after its captain fell off. Deputy Fernandes and Deputy Constant, both of the Marine and Environmental Lands Unit, responded to a request to assist the US Coast Guard with a runaway boat on July 30, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
