Shortage of Christmas Trees, Real and Artificial, Expected This Year

Dreaming of a beautiful Christmas Tree this year? Better get one soon! Jack Sangillo owns the Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm in Manalapan, New Jersey, and he told Inside Edition that the cost of importing the trees he doesn’t grow at the farm has doubled since last year. Artificial trees are also in short supply, as they mostly come from China and are held up in the supply chain chaos. But if you buy your tree too early, it could dry out and die before Christmas arrives, which poses a fire hazard.
