A slew of aides in Vice President Mike Pence’s close circle have tested positive for the coronavirus, and while Pence tested negative according to the White House, he has continued to campaign in the final days leading up to the election. According to the CDC, the Vice President should be quarantining for fourteen days, but the White House is arguing that he is an essential worker, drawing major pushback on the idea that attending rallies, where many are maskless, is “essential.”
