Single Mom of 6 Forced to Say Goodbye Via Walkie-Talkie Outside Washington Hospital

As coronavirus inflicts tragedy across the nation, we want to highlight some of the people the disease has taken. Sundee Rutter was a single mother of six, and a breast cancer survivor. Before she died of coronavirus, she had to say goodbye to each of her children using a walkie-talkie as they stood outside the hospital in Washington State. Captain Douglas Lin Hickok was the first U.S. service member to lose his life to the virus; he was in the New Jersey National Guard.
