Small Dog Named Pamuk Dug Out of Crumbling Building in Turkey by Hand

A small dog named Pamuk waited patiently as first responders dug him by hand out from earthquake rubble in Turkey. It took some time, but Pamuk was finally pulled free of the wreckage. Neighbors say his owner is in the hospital. Hopefully the little dog’s rescue will give his human family another reason to fight and recover. Authorities now estimate the 7.8 magnitude earthquake and its aftershocks have caused the deaths of almost 20,000 people while injuring about 70,000 more.
