At the first audience-free episode of “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday, judge Sofia Vergara got emotional after a contestant revealed that his sister had died around the same time that the judge’s brother was murdered. Contestant Brandon Leake performed spoken word poetry about his younger sister Danielle Marie Gibson, who died in 1997 at only 8 months old. Vergara teared up as she shared that her brother had died the same year as Leake’s sister.
