Spice Rack Named the Most Contaminated Place in a Kitchen: Study

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the No.1 most contaminated place in a kitchen is your spice cabinet. You can keep the bottles of your spices clean by wiping them down with a disinfectant wipe.  However, there may be some pesky germs hiding out in unsuspecting places in your kitchen. Recipe developer and chef Jason Goldstein says handles on knives and frying pans need to be scrubbed.
