Stormy Daniels Testifies Against Michael Avenatti in Fraud Case

Adult film star Stormy Daniels took the stand today at the trial of her former high-profile lawyer, Micahel Avenatti. “He stole from me and lied to me,” Daniels told the jury. Stormy became a national figure during the 2016 presidential election when she claimed she had an affair with Donald Trump in 2006. Throughout the ensuing chaos, Daniels had Avenatti at her side. He is now accused of stealing $300,000 of her $800,000 book deal by forging her signature. Avenatti is acting as his own attorney.
