Study Suggests Physically Active Pets Inherit Their Owners’ Healthy Habits

Being active isn’t just great for your health, a new study suggests it’s also great for your pet’s health. The University of Guelph conducted an international study of dog owners and found that physically active dogs have active owners. Researchers say the results of the study are promising because pet obesity is prevalent. It’s estimated that 100 million cats and dogs in the U.S. are overweight or obese and that can cause health problems. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
