Supreme Court Surrounded by Fences After Roe v Wade Abortion Rights Opinion Leak

The United States Supreme Court is in lockdown today, surrounded by 8-foot, ‘non-scalable’ fencing. It’s the same fences we saw around the Capitol after the January 6th riot in 2021. The barriers were erected overnight, as part of a response to the growing protests over the court’s leaked draft of its decision to overturn the 1973 Roe v Wade ruling. Democrats and pro-choice activists have mobilized to decry the move, while conservatives are focused on who leaked the explosive document.
