2 Senior British Royals Have Surgery

Catherine, Princess of Wales, is in a London hospital recovering after abdominal surgery. That announcement was made by Kensington Palace on Jan. 17, saying the surgery was “planned” and “successful.” King Charles will be admitted to the hospital next week, Buckingham Palace preemptively announced. Doctors will perform a procedure on the 75-year-old British monarch to correct an enlarged prostate.
