Suspect in Orange Wig Steals iPhone 8 and $40 From Parked Taxi

New York City police are looking for a suspect in an alleged smash-and-grab robbery on a yellow cab. Video shows a person in a bright orange wig walking up to a taxi parked in midtown Manhattan. The suspect bashes what appears to be a concrete cinder block into the driver’s side window, then reaches inside the car. NYPD says the driver of the taxi parked the car so they could have a restroom break, and returned just 15 minutes later to find an iPhone 8 and $40 missing.
